I lost my beautiful Gingher Dress Maker Shears with pink and purple flowers on the handle :(
I have to find them. They have been missing for a week.

This morning I woke to find my car was broken into. They stole my husband's wallet and pay check and our cell phone. The smashed the driver window to get in and there where tiny pieces of glass everywhere. My husband never carries cash so he never saw anything wrong with leaving his wallet in the car especially parked in the drive way. The worst part of the whole situation is having to replace his wallet and contents and the price of a new window. We already have to get the whole back side fixed from an accident last week on our way to L.A.for a photo shoot. Some kid rammed his uncle's SUV into the back of our brand new car while we where stopped in traffic. We hadn't even put the license plates on yet.

I live in this area of San Diego called Chula Vista. The further east you go the newer and more parks you find. I went to the park with the kids today that they call "the water park." It has sprinklers that they can run through as well as a regular play ground. Well the sprinklers were shut off for some reason so the kids played on the playground equipment. All the kids love this huge circle that is sloped and spins. A bunch of boys where on there and my 3 year old daughter grabs onto one of the sections to spin with them. One of the youngers boys (around 5) takes her sunglasses off her face and tells her if she wants them back to get off. She gets off and the boy throws the sunglasses into the wood chips. I tell him to leave her alone and one of the other boys grabs the sunglasses and throws them even further. By this time I am pretty angry and I basically yell at the boy to leave her alone. The mothers never once even turn their heads to see what was going on. I felt like grabbing the two kids and dragging them over to their mothers and yelling just at much at the mothers as the kids by this point. Their daughter asked what was wrong but they just sat there gabbing away. How could someone just ignore their kids like that. I went to another park and the kids had a wonderful time. The really like the mister they have at the other park.

Bally's Sucks! So I was supposed to get a refund yesterday along with a phone call. Nothing. I wrote this the other day in My Space.

I hate Bally's. The one closest to my house is totally dirty and the machines are broken. They shrunk down the size of the kids club to make a break room for the trainers. Its the only major gym around here with no slide in the kids club whatsoever or toys really. I went to a smaller Bally's further away and they had a small slide from Toysrus and jump ropes and all sorts of things to play with.

I cancel my membership last month while I still could and they are like it won't officially be cancelled until the billing date. It was charged and so I assumed the membership was cancelled. So this month I am looking at my bank account online just to see if I had to go to the bank with some checks I have or if they could wait until the next day. I am expecting at least $50 in one account and a couple hundred in the other account. WTF the one that was supposed to have $50 was negative. So I look through and there is another charge from Bally's! I sent an e-mail over the weekend that has yet to be answered and I call today because I was out of town and now I have to wait for some supervisor to get a chance to look at things when I am sure it shows on the computer I called multiple times last month to get it cancelled.

Another thing that pissed me off was that you scan your card when you go and they where out of cards for over a week when I signed up. Well there is a minimum amount of times you have to be able to cancel the membership and they where not wanting to count the week and a half of gyms visits when they where out of cards and hand swipes when the system was down. If they can't keep there system up and working they can't require things like that. They where trying to punish me for their broken down commnication between the gym and corporate.

Today was my brother's daughter's baptism. It was in Tijuana and I went with my parents and two children because my husband had to work. So we wait in line and get up there. My parents hand the agent their "green-cards" and I am holding my ID out the back window. She is sitting there with this expression of pure laziness trying to move the least amount possible. She says " I see this is going to take a long time. I need everyone's documents. I have 2 and I see 3 people." Finally I hand my ID to my father and he hands it to her. She scans all 3 cards hands them back and just sits there. Then she asks me "How did you become a citizen?" with this attitude in her voice. That is kind of rude to ask. I have always been an American citizen. So I guess I became one by being born! It pisses me off. It is one thing to be asked where you where born and another to be asked how you became and American citizen. Especially when all your info is displayed on the screen in front of them as they scan your ID. Just because half the people who work at the border have "green cards" does not mean that all the people crossing the border have them.

My husband being the white boy he is gets pissed off at the border patrol's agents attitudes every time we cross. He like can't they see I am white? We also notice that the attitudes can vary greatly by what car you are in. It is definitely different crossing with my parents (who have "green cards") and my husband(white boy). I don't even get asked anything when I cross with my husband. The worst is when they get angry with you over not understanding their thick accent! If you ask them to repeat a question they basically yell it at you and just keep asking questions which you have to try to figure out by the words you did understand or things just get worst. Not everyone has an accent but the ones that do act like they speak perfect english and should never be asked to repeat.

The power goes to their heads! They act like they are doing the most amazing job. The lady today did not even notice the two kids in the back in their car seats. They where quite obviously there. The car seats are huge and they where wearing these big coats and eating ice cream back there. I could have been smuggling 10 illegals in the back seat and cargo area and she would not have noticed. She was too busy sitting on her stool being crotchety to do her job correctly. She was just concerned with not having to move out of her stool to scan the cards of the people who's heads where peeping out the windows. If I would have left my window shut would she not have even bothered with me?

Wednesday night my husband and I went to a club called Blood and Glitter at the Beauty Bar. I made a hot pink tutu to go under a black one I made before. I wore a corset and a lace tank top underneath. I made the bracelet on my right hand. I need something for my hair for a huge party we are going to on Saturday and new fishnets since I already ripped those. I also want to try to find something to cover my arms. A little shrug or something. I wore some hot pink pistol earrings I got in my Sampler this month. That is what inspired me to make the hot pink tutu and made me go crazy trying to find a pink top to go under my black corset.

The only thing worst than being sick myself is having two sick kids! Alejandro (4) went to the doctor today for the 3rd time since last Friday. He has been throwing up and lost 8 percent of his body weight. They gave him a shot(7th poke since Friday) to control the vomiting and if he wasn't better by tomorrow the doctor said to take him to the ER. The shot worked great and he was able to keep down food and drink by the end of the day luckily.

So the only thing he wanted to eat was orange chicken so I took Anabella (2) to pick up some sweet and sour chicken. Its all the same to him and the doctor said the more sugar the better. While we where there my daughter started sneezing and coughing and her nose got all runny and has a full blown cold now.

Tomorrow is going to drive me nuts!

I got my Sampler. It was a really fat one this time. I really like the mini memo board and can't wait to try the body butter. I have not really had a chance to look at everything. I just opened it and set it all out before I mess up all the packaging.

I really love these baskets I am going to have to buy some when my kids move into their new room.

My old wallet stretched out because I stuffed it so full of stuff and I cleaned it out and now everything just falls out. So I just carried a pouch with the leather ID credit card holder thing that came with my old wallet instead for about six or seven months now. So I have been wanting a new wallet. I asked my husband for a Tous wallet for Christmas. I had seen a few on their website that I liked. We went to Fashion Valley and there were just really plain and weird color ones. We went to L.A. to shoot some photos before Christmas and I saw there was a Tous store in Glendale, same thing! I told my husband to just spend the $200 on clothes for his kids and our kids at the Pumpkin Patch Store for Christmas. I could just wait two weeks and see if they had anything in for my birthday. They were really late and then when they did arrive all the cute ones were snatched up within days again!! Needless to say whenever we go shopping anywhere I am in search of a cute wallet. They are all so ugly and plain! All I want is a black leather wallet that is cute and not just blah!

Now eight months later I still had no wallet until today! I went to Target with the kids and just decided to look at the wallets in case something somewhat cute was there. I was not expecting to find anything. Well it was only the cutest wallet I have ever seen. Its a cross between these two. Its like a clutch purse but its a wallet with the little ball closure on top. It was one of the ones that is actually leather too! So I am very happy.

Yesterday I went to the Punk Rock Craft Fair. Not very much traffic so not many people did well with sales but I did meet a lot of really nice people!
I was just looking at some links on the Sampler and saw this! I used to have it when I was little! I wish I still had it! So many things I wish I still had!

So my husband has been shooting pictures of girls. It all started out that we went to a Club Fashion Whore in Hillcrest to shoot pics and dance. He was actually there to shoot pics of a particular girl and she decided to shoot with one of the other photographers instead. Well that first night there were really pretty girls and he touched up some of the pics and they liked them and he got some too do TFP (Trade For Pics)

The next time the theme was masquerade and I made a tutu and he decided to shoot a friend of ours in it and it becoming a series.
We were talking about photoshop the other day and he was like "have you seen Arlette's new picture? and I was like no why? and so I looked and I could not help but laugh. This girl is really thin and good looking with pro makeup. They really messed her up in photoshop. The waist is smaller than her arm and her legs are skinnier than her arms and her legs somehow magically appear out of the middle of her swimsuit. See how the rocks are pasted in between her arm and waist and how the legs look like plastic because they did some kind of crazy stretching to them.

The photoshop thing came from people saying my husband uses too much photoshop but anyone who wants to get his colors has to. He is not bad compared to this or a certain photographer who makes the models look like their skin is melting with a combination of bad lighting and careless photoshop or the other guy who makes all the models look stoned or the one who makes them all look completely uncomfortable.
I need to shoot sometime soon and show that I am talented too. I hate having to learn our camera. Manual was so simple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This weekend was my son's birthday. We had a party on Saturday and swam for hours. It was good it was at my husband's parents so they could swim and it was at 5:00, no sun on the pool! Weather got to 111 in El Cajon were the party was. I think his favorite present was a Viewmaster from our friend Jenny at http://www.uptowncountryhome.com/ the only problem with it is I think I will have to buy a second one for Anabella. They fight over it whenever they use it in front of one another.I got him Backyardigans bubbles and a singing Pablo (also Backyardigans). He got a lot of cool presents. Yesterday (Sunday) was really his birthday. My brother got him a wizard hat and a Griffendorf hat and scarf set (Harry Potter)at Comic-Con and it looks awesome! Just like they look in the movie! My son was very tired when he got it though and I put it on him and he got upset that it did not really do magic! We went out to eat and then went swimming at his grandparents again. We had a great weekend!

Brian and I will be vendors at the Punk Rock Craft Fair on July 29. This is going to be a busy month. We have to make a bunch of stuff to take with us.

I made this tutu to go to a place called Club Fashion Whore (masquerade theme night) this Saturday night and then we did a photo shoot of a friend wearing it. I wish we had another camera. My husband took the pics. Here is one of them.



I wonder what I would have done during the shoot. I used to shoot things a lot more abstract when I used to shoot. My avatar being an example. I think I could have done something awesome. Especially with my Holga back in the day.

Brian and I took the kids in the bike trailer for a ride and a picnic. It was so much fun! We need to make it a routine to do it a few times a week. We did it twice this week so far. It is a little over 9 miles round trip to the park. The biggest obstacle is this hill we go up. It is not too steep but it is long. The first time I pushed my bike about one third the trip up the second time this week I took it in two parts. I need to get in shape and make it up all at once without feeling like I am going to barf. Its not like my legs get too tired riding up or anything. Its this overwhelming feeling like I am going to vomit that makes me get off my bike and walk up. I was proud of myself the second time I made it up no pushing. I got to the top and waited for my husband in this patch of grass while he came up (I have a great advantage, he pulls the two kids in the trailer... Its hard when we go without kids though because it is so hard when he pulls the kids that he is way faster and stronger than me). Last year my kids cried everytime we went now they look forward to having a picnic at the park. My son asks everyday, "are we going to have a picnic today?" The worst part about the park though is being there in our spandex. If we were skinny it would not be such a big deal but we are not.

I bought some beads a few weeks ago and made some bracelets and just started going over board so I am selling some on my website. I have them on sale 25% off for the next week. My favorite has to be the apples. My husband loves the clone troopers.

I really hate it when people take credit for other people's work. My husband and I did a website a few months ago. The chick was really annoying and kept changing her mind and was like can I see this and this and this and finally was like I like the original one best. She wanted us to do the upkeep for comission and I told my husband NO WAY!!!!!!! This site is not even live yet because she has not added all her products and its been months. Today she contacts my husband and she is like this thing isn't working can you fix it? He goes to check it out and the site has the logo huge and this flower added and all the delicate little detail lines are all fat and it says designed by some other design company. Its best they took the designed by Mediaessence off because so many things looks terrible now but it still has our logo and background and all this other really cool stuff we did on it. You don't take other peoples things and call them your own. We put so much work and got in fights over it because he wanted me to do some of the work and would come back too early from the park with the kids and they would be climbing all over me while I was trying to draw stuff in Illustrator. We even did it cheap because she agreed to let us put designed by Mediaessence on it.
